Many travelers worry about where their next assignment is. Your previous work environment was really great – you adapted well to a new setting, fellow staff members were very friendly and inviting, and you were able to make some good memories. So, the question you are probably asking yourself is “where to next?” Will you adapt well in your new work environment? How will seasoned pros handle a new person? Here at Titan, we try to make the transition as smooth as possible. We will work with you to find what you want in an assignment and where you are willing to travel.
Not all travelers are the same. Some of you may like the hustle and bustle of a fast-paced big city environment, while others may settle easier in a quiet small town setting. We staff all modalities in all 50 states – there is bound to be an assignment and a “home” for you. We even have travelers in Alaska and Hawaii. Talk about two opposite sides of the environment spectrum.
If you like a more coastal environment, we staff at hospitals on both coasts and can look for an assignment with a beach view? If you want something that has that Midwestern or Southern charm, we got you covered.
We are always looking for your ideal assignment but also encourage you to keep an open mind. There may be opportunities out there in placed you never thought about. Or assignment in places that could enhance your skills or teach you new ones. Being able to adapt to new environments and having a broad range of skills and experiences makes your more attractive and marketable to a hospital. It could be what sets you apart from the rest.
Transitioning to a new setting is not an easy one, even if you are a seasoned traveler. Keeping an open mind and having a good relationship with your recruiter and communicating what it is that you’re looking for will help you find the right fit for you and your newest adventure.
