Hi! I’m Heather, and I am native to Omaha, NE. I have always had a passion for traveling; as a teen, I participated in an exchange to Germany, and then in college, I studied in Vienna, Austria. Upon graduating with a degree in International Studies from the University of Nebraska – Omaha, I spent a year working in Japan. Upon my return to the US, I met my husband, who worked as a Physical Therapist Assistant. It was through his work that we took a travel assignment to Oregon, then later to Colorado. I experienced all the things that come with travel, from sheer wonder and amazement to the frustration of being crammed in a tiny studio apartment. The best part of traveling was driving down Highway 1 through the Redwoods and the coast of California. I love talking about travel, helping others, and connecting with travelers, especially nurses! I have a deep and profound respect for nurses, especially after having nurses care for me as well as my family members. I look forward to connecting and working with nurses and support staff throughout the US.
