Dobbins Lookout is part of the largest municipally managed parks in the nation. Dobbins Lookout is the highest point in the park that is available to the public. You have an option to drive or hike to the lookout.  This scenic observation point offers one of the best views of the Phoenix area!

  • Desert Botanical Garden

  • Japanese Friendship Garden  

If you want a break from the desert, this is the place to go. The Japanese Friendship Garden is beautiful! This garden transports you to an authentic Japanese garden experience located in the middle of Phoenix.  There are waterfalls, ponds, fish, bridges, and a tea house that hosts traditional ceremonies. The Japanese Friendship Garden was created between Phoenix and Himeji, its Japanese sister city.

  • Goldfield Ghost Town  

Goldfields Ghost Town has a variety of shops and historical buildings. You can tour Mammoth Gold Mine and visit the Goldfield Museum while you are there! When walking down Main Street, you get to witness an old west gunfight performed by Goldfield Gunfighters.
